Every discourse is foundational to the laiety and reified by analysts until the moment at which it can no longer be reconciled with emprical data. At that moment of failutre, a new discourse will suddenly appear to be at play and will seem to have been at play all along, and from that moment onward it will itself be both foundational and apparently reified.
