Dioni says:

Touching story, very revealing. But I didn’t say you don’t have to have respect towards the ocean.
I’m sorry but no, this is not your friend Aqueous. I don’t get it – you can email friends, you can call them too. Isn’t the blog for total strangers? It’s incredibly liberating (surely it’s a sort of exhibitionism too?) to be able to tease/provoke/bend/wonder/dig/express without all that burden of the "personal" – no?

leapdragon says:

Once a red cross swimming instructor warned me that I should never swim in large natural bodies of water because my stroke was too weak. I promptly ignored her and ran out to into the waves, after which I had to be rescued by a lifeguard.

I was triumphant in my defiance but also crestfallen and embarassed by the fact that some stupid lifeguard was carrying me along like a baby even though I was maybe ten and full of manly gravitas. To this day I think about it every time wade out into the ocean.

By the way, who are you? (Not that you can answer that here.)

Oh, and where are my old friends who used to be here before I turned off posting? CHA? Aqueous? (Surely this isn’t you, Aqueous? Not like you at all.)

Blah, blah, blah.

Look, I’m turning this into another post!

God, I’m an infant. Hahahahaha.

That infallibility crisis really got to you, hm?
Don’t fret, you don’t have to know the ocean to swim in it (who, in the name of jabba, said that..?)
